All units feature inverter-rated premium efficiency or high efficiency, parallel mounted, belt-driven TEFC (totally enclosed fan cooled) industrial motors, thus eliminating seal failure problems so common in direct drive disposers and protecting the motor from both water and drive damage. - Energy Savings
Hammerall's grind action allows significantly more grinding power with substantially less motor horsepower than competitive disposers--A 50% or better reduction in energy usage is achievable in most installations. - Water Savings
